Kazuki Takemura is a New York based bassist and composer. He was born in Ehime, Japan. He has studied with Kosuke Inoue, Rodney Whitaker, John Hébert, and Or Bareket. He has played with artists such as Randy Napoleon, Miki Yamanaka, Matt Wilson, Gary Versace, Steve Wilson, Kirk Knuffke, Joel Frahm, Jeff Lederer, Takuya Kuroda and more. Takemura aspires to be a musician where his music becomes his passport to the world.
